Sometimes you have to be willing to make sacrifices to get a good wildlife action shot.  You have to be willing to spend time, observe, hike into the back woods, and get close to potentially dangerous animals.  It's a tough life.  Wildlife photography is an adventure.  But, not today . . .

Today, I saw this little snail moving along on the sidewalk while I walked my dog.  I may have to read up on this wildlife photography stuff.

Here's an interesting shot that I took here in Atlanta.  It's Hermi's Bridge--an old bridge across the Chattahoochie that has been restored as a pedestrian bridge.

A Deer at the Office

This deer caught my eye at the office last week.  I was leaving in the early evening and peered over the side of our parking garage.  I saw a small herd of deer rummaging about in nearby woods.  This doe watched me for quite awhile.  She was framed perfectly by the trees and shubbery.  Fortunately, I had my Kodak digital camera in my pocket.  Since I only had 10x optical zoom,  I cropped this image down.

When the sun is at just the right angle, objects take on a reflective, surreal, golden tone.  I caught this spider web at just the right time.

This vintage motor scooter strikes me as an essential piece of hipster gear.  It's very cool, but it must take a lot of courage to maneuver  in Atlanta traffic.

Green Flowers - Nothing But Stars

This is an interesting flower.  It's green and is composed of star shapes.  I have no idea what kind of Georgia plant this could be.
